Honesty

Honesty’s the best policy, I am sure you will agree

Stick to the truth and from it never flee

Try to live your life without one lie

And if you fail, do not your faults deny

Honesty is a virtue much regarded

Not to be ignored or readily discarded

And like this plant which shows no brilliant bloom

Yet nonetheless brings great blessing and much boon
